Omessa is a beautiful village in central Corsica, located 10 minutes from Corte, 30 minutes from Ile Rousse, 1 hour from Bastia, 1 hour 30 minutes from Ajaccio or Porto, 2 hours from Porto-Vecchio. Omessa is a few minutes from four magnificent rivers to swim (the Restonica and the Tavignano in Corte, the Golo in the Scala de Santa Regina and the Asco), and 30 minutes from the beautiful beach of Ostriconi in Balagne. It is also the ideal place for mountain and hiking lovers. A central location that allows a real visit of Corsica!

Hiking: nearby to do with family:
In Corte at the end of the Restonica valley, Lake Melo and Capitello (1 hour walk to the Melo)
Also in Corte, the Tavignano valley to discover by feet.
In the Niolo valley, Lake Nino.
In the valley of Asco, at the end of the road from the old ski resort, many hikes including portions of the GR20....
